Help/Your material

What material can I upload

  • PDF: handouts, exported slides, books. You choose which pages to use.
  • Scanned PDFs: if the PDF has no digital text, the pages you select are read with OCR (Google Cloud Vision on our server). Text already in the PDF is extracted for free, without OCR.
  • Photos: handwritten notes, whiteboards, diagrams. Vesta also reads arrows and diagram labels and can bring the diagram into the set.
  • Links: articles and web pages. Useful pictures from the page are added to the set.
  • YouTube videos: from the video's subtitles, with a few stills from the video (Pro plan).
  • Just a topic: with no material, Vesta writes the set from the title.
